Spicy Spinach and Bacon Dip

Need a delicious dip to pair with your Food Should Taste Good multigrain chips? Here is my personal take on a spicy spinach dip. Have leftover dip even though your chips are long gone? Mix your leftover dip into cooked spaghetti for a rich and creamy dinner.

FOOD SHOULD TASTE GOOD

SPICY SPINACH AND BACON DIP RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 oz frozen chopped spinach (thawed and drained)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 pieces of cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 onion, diced small
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground red pepper
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • Food Should Taste Good multigrain chips

DIRECTIONS

Add your diced onion and garlic to your bacon while frying in the pan. Drain off fat. In a pot, mix together drained spinach, milk, red pepper, and cream cheese. Stir over medium heat until smooth and heated throughout. Stir in bacon, garlic, onion mixture. Use as a dip with Food Should Taste Good multigrain chips.
